Focusing on the Positive

Levi keeps pushing forward despite the ongoing vomiting and for the most part has continued smiling and cuddling (recently with his Police Bear) whenever possible.  He’s really tired, but always happy to talk about colors, animal sounds or his family.  So if he can focus on the positive, so can we.  So, here is our list of positives for this Sunday:

- His personality of being sweet mixed with a little mischievous remains intact

- Through IV nutrition he has not lost any weight and even regained a little bit of those chubby cheeks

- His singing continues to be a source of instant smiles and encouragement   Who knew Wheels on the Bus could be a source of so much joy (mostly for the adults) 😁?

-  All of the vomiting is quite a core workout, so we are expecting six pack abs for our little man soon

- So far, his body has been very resilient, with his kidneys functioning at their best and his blood counts recovering quickly   This is so important as it allows his treatment to continue without modifications

- He is surrounded by family and love, even if a lot of it is virtual, it is still felt.
