Twists and Turns
As Levi’s journey continues, there have been some twists and turns. As a part of his treatment he needs to get periodic hearing tests as the chemo can impact his hearing. They found an issue with this latest screen, which means he will need another test today to clarify if his hearing has been impacted. If so, his chemo will need to be adjusted. We are glad that there are watching him closely!
In addition, his port which allows him to get his medications without the need for frequent Ivs and needle pokes has stopped working. This means he will need to get this replaced to allow for more chemo without damaging his veins. Never a dull day!
To start today, he is currently working with physical therapy to keep trying to build back his strength. We are seeing little improvements there which makes us so happy, especially as Levi gets really proud of himself as well saying “I did it!”
