Full Gear for All
Levi is starting Thiopeta treatments today. It's part of his chemotherapy that helps stop the cancer cells from growing. It's pretty intense and EVERYONE (including mom and dad) needs to be masked, gloved, and gowned. Also, as part of the treatment, Levi needs to take a bath every six (6) hours. The drug is very irritating to the skin and can cause burns if it's not washed off. It comes out through the skin as it works, it's not a topical treatment.
Unfortunately, Levi does not like baths. He doesn't like them at home, and he really doesn't like them at the hospital. Hopefully, he will learn to like them a little better or maybe they can get him in and out of the bath quickly so he can get back to things he does like, like MONSTER BOOT SOCCER.
This treatment will last about five days. We'll keep you posted on how he's doing!

Interesting treatment.
My dearest Levi, you be brave. Take those baths so this treatment can be over. I will pray for you that you are able to do this & be over it. Be brave, my amazing Levi!
