Some Days Are Like That
Levi is now ten days out from his transplant. And for most of those days, we could all agree that it has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day (yes, we love children’s book references). He remains in the ICU and on the breathing machine for now. He has had many challenges in this short amount of time requiring antibiotics, antifungals, medication to support his heart’s hard work, blood transfusions, platelets, and medicine for pain. But...yesterday we got the first signs that his transplant may finally be taking hold which for him will be his path to recovery. That combined with Beth and Zack’s tireless support of him, holding hands, reading stories, and staying by his side means that today is a little less terrible.

Good news! Continued prayers.
I am thinking and praying for you all. First for Levi, then to Beth Zach and Owen, and on to the medical team with him thru it all. 🙏❤️ Carol Kirkpatrick
Hang in there Rundlett family. You all have been truly amazing and touching the hearts of many. Sending prayers your way.
💕🙏🏻 continuing all the prayers always. I love the reference and we definitely read this story at cadence. Love, hugs, prayers for everyone helping Levi get through this 🤗
Thank God. Continued rosaries etc. Hugs for Owen, too. Thanks for updates Brandi and Bonnie. kj
Continuing to pray and to hold Levi in my heart! Beth and Zack are superhero parents with huge hearts, and they passed that strength on to Levi. Just gotta get through this bump in the road.
Like a caterpillar turns into a butterfly, those horrible days will turn into days of sunshine. Keep on fighting, Levi. Remember you, mom, dad, & Owen are surrounded in a circle of hugs & love. We are squeezing you with tons of prayers.
So glad to hear that things are turning toward the better. So hard to hear that it’s been such a difficult journey. We will keep praying for your whole family - for healing, strength and peace from God, wisdom from the doctors, and more. Hang in there Rundlett family!!! 💗💗💗💗
