A Few Updates

After getting all of his tests, we found out that Levi’s shunt is working well (Yea!) but his port where he gets medicine is not (Boo!).  They are working on a plan to figure out what to do next with that.

He made it through though tests well, but started having fevers early this morning.  As his immune system is still very young following his transplant, we have to take all fevers very serious.  He was evaluated this morning to try to find the source of infection and given IV antibiotics.  He is still not feeling very well and the fevers continue so we’re hoping the antibiotics kick in soon.  Another long day in the hospital, but we’re hoping that this stay is short and he’ll be back to playing at home soon!
