Lots of Snuggle Time

Levi is still needing more support for his kidneys so dialysis continues.  He has been doing what are called “pressure support trials” to see how he will handle being off of the ventilator and those have gone well.  So, we are hoping to continue to tune things up so that he will have the best chance of getting rid of that tube.  
In the meantime, his nurses have been great about moving lines and machines to make sure that snuggles remain a key component in his treatment.  And for that part, he has many willing volunteers!!!

Of course, at the top of the list is Zack, always ready to cuddle his little meatball.  On the heels of Father’s Day, we can’t help but point out how lucky Levi is to have a Dad like Zack to walk (or lay down and snuggle!) on this journey with him, even when it’s hard.  And, of course, we also have to mention two of Levi’s very favorite people, Grandpa Jim and Grandpa Tom who always excite Levi when they enter the room or call on the phone.  Happy Father’s Day to all!!!
