Holding Steady
Levi has been holding steady - tolerating his dialysis and doing well with his breathing. Every once in awhile he needs a little bit of oxygen, but he is still doing great when only 10 days ago he needed the full breathing tube.
The whole family had a great Fourth of July, being able to spend time together and had a great view of fireworks from his room on the 11th floor. His favorite was when Owen got in bed with him to snuggle, he turned right toward him and put his arm up to hug him. And, Owen kept telling us the next day “Last night was so fun!”
The next big steps for Levi are trying to get all of his electrolytes, fluids, and chemicals back in order. Due to how sick he has been, his awareness fluctuates, called delirium. He is getting a new medicine for this and we are hoping it starts to kick in soon. In addition, Beth and Zack will be meeting with the teams again this week to continue making a plan for dialysis, cancer treatment, and everything else. We are looking forward to more stroller rides and story time!

Love seeing brotherly love. It’s the greatest feeling feeling those hugs around you. So glad the family were together to see the fireworks. Let’s pray for Levi’s freedom from cancer & move him to better place so Owen & him can be together at home. Hugs & love!
