The Place Where He Belongs

Levi has been home for several days now. It’s been quite a learning process as Beth and Zack take over for what the nurses and doctors had been doing. They, of course, have been doing awesome and risen to the occasion with no complaints and love.

Owen continues to read to Levi, and now gets the chance to play with him, go on stroller rides, and be with him all day.  Radar too is around, giving unwelcome kisses, guarding the house, and getting super excited when he see the stroller. And of course, Stompy is on the scene.

We are so grateful that they get this time at home. There’s a poem “To All Parents” by Edgar Guest (it’s worth the read) that reminds us that we are on loan. And that each of us have lessons to learn and teach, no matter how long our time here.

We are filled with love and comfort that he is home, the place where he belongs.
