My sweet Victoria passed away early this morning. I was holding her hand when God came for her. It was very peaceful. We are all better off for knowing her. And while we, her family, grieve losing her, we can take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering. “Victoria, you touched my heart from the moment you were born. On October 31st, we would like to invite you to join us at Maybury State Park to walk/run for our Unicorn Warrior, Victoria. On the same day, Josette is participating in the “Race to Cure Sarcoma Cleveland” in Cleveland, Ohio. Hi everyone! Ever since Victoria's cancer diagnosis we have been racking our brains on how to create more awareness around cancer research, education, and advocacy. As I was spending way too much time researching how I can support and help my sister fight her fight, I stumbled upon "Race to Cure Sarcoma Cleveland 2020". On October 31st, my family and I will be virtually running, walking, and biking to raise much needed funding for research, education and advocacy and ultimately racing to find a cure for sarcoma cancer. In honor of Victoria's cancer fight, we humbly ask for those who are able and willing to help support our efforts by joining our team, make a donation to our team page, or share this page to create awareness.
We continue to most importantly ask for your prayers. Victoria’s surgery accomplished what it needed to accomplish and now we are praying she can recover from her surgery to return home.

Slight update: Victoria will be having another surgery tomorrow.
We would like to ask everyone to please pray for Victoria’s medical team, the surgeon, doctors and nurses. And for Victoria. There has been a small bump in the road during her recovery process, and they will be performing another surgery tomorrow to try and figure out how to get her over this bump and towards being able to go home. As you can imagine, Victoria is frustrated and longing to be home, on her couch, showering in her own shower, and sleeping in her own bed. Please pray her medical team comes up with not only answers, but a positive solution that sends Victoria home and on her way her towards recovery and into the next phase of her journey to beating this thing once and for all!

As many of you saw in Victoria‘s post a few days ago, she shared she has received over 40 units of blood during these last several weeks. There is no doubt she needed all of that blood to keep her living.[...]
