It is a waiting game. We are very thankful that the US Army Colonel Mike Heimall has taken the next steps to persue and apply a waiver- to try to override the denial of transportation by TriCare United Healthcare, which occured on Tuesday of this week. If the waiver is accepted- it will allow for Jake to be airlifted back to Minnesota to Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul, MN for the needed and deserved TBI and wound care from his motorcycle accident. We are waiting.......

We were so shocked to read your entry yesterday on the denial of transport for Jake. We pray that the waiver is successful and Jake is back in MN soon. We pray for your strength as you endure all of these trials and that Jake will soon have the treatment he needs. Hugs to you.
Keeping Jake, you and Jeff in our prayers. We are hoping for his arrival to Minnesota soon. Keep the faith and your strength up and Jake will be with soon!
