8:00 am

Good morning - all is about the same.  Brian is having a hard time getting comfortable in the hospital bed - he wishes he had his own pillows.  The doctors/nurses are reducing his I.V. fluids by half as they want him to start drinking more.  They are hoping to get him up and moving around much more today.  He did take a shower last night - thank goodness!  Please continue to pray for us.

3:00 pm

Brian had physical therapy this morning and was able to walk 100 feet and throw a ball.  He's still having trouble getting comfortable but seems to be making a little progress.

7:30 pm

Brian is still having a little dizziness so the doctors/nurses are keeping him just as a precaution for a few more days.  He had a meatball sandwich (yes, again) and has started to get his appetite back since not feeling so good yesterday.  Brian wants to thank everybody for all the love and support you have shown.  It makes him feel good going to bed at night knowing that he has so much love in his life.

I will happily pick up pillows at your house and bring them down to you if they'll allow it. There is nothing like your own bed and pillows!

It's those horrible hospital beds! I hope he can continue to get up and move around more and more. That should make him feel better. We keep thinking about you guys and praying for good news each day. Keep working hard Brian! You will beat this.
