We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. We were thankful we got to spend some time with our families. Brian has been taking it easy. We had an appointment yesterday with the Radiologist and the target date to begin radiation and chemotherapy is December 11th. Please continue your posts and prayers as they really fuel our hope and positive outlook as we continue our journey through this difficult time.

He needs to keep his nutrition up and limit visitors once the treatment starts. I'm on a medication now for breast CA and my white blood cell count is always low. I take a lot of vitamins and vitamin C. Check with the oncologist to get a recommendation. I also got a lot of skin relief when I had radiation treatments using the aloe from the real leaves, not the bottled type. It can be applied to the affected areas as much as he wants since it has no chemicals. Just have to scrape the gel from the center of the leaf. I kept them in the fridge, very soothing. Still praying for all of you

Constant prayers and positive thoughts. You know I can't think of anything else until we get back that over achieving, energetic Brian we all know and love to pieces.
We are praying for all of you. I read today in a post "AT His Feet" by Jill Briscoe, "We are able to survive our circumstances with His help because He has already survived His circumstances as God-man, Jesus of Nazareth. In Christ we have available to us all the support of heaven. I am praying that you continue to know this support through friends and neighbors as well as the Lord's indwelling presence. As my mother put it, " I need people with skin on to feel the love of Christ!"
