Sorry for the delay in posting an update ... we are all plugging along with Brian's treatments and things are going pretty good. The drive back and forth is a little taxing but Brian's a trooper, of course.
Brian's former teacher from Conant High School, Frank Kernats reached out to us and a fundraiser is being held on behalf of Brian on January 5, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Conant High School. Some of his former classmates and teachers will be there. If Brian is feeling well enough, he will be there to preside over the debate as he did when he was captain of the Debate Team.
We are really hoping for a great turn out in order to show our continued emotional support for Brian but any monetary support would be welcome as well.
We want to reach out to each and everyone of you to thank you for all your thoughts, support and prayers during this extremely difficult time in our lives. We extend our best wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

That is so thoughtful that his teacher is organizing this. Brian is a trooper as is his mom and dad and all of his family. Cancer is a family disease - it effects everyone involved. Stay strong and positive. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts coming your way.

So very happy that he is tolerating the treatments. Even though we have never met Brian if he's anything like his dad he will stay strong and positive to beat this. I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas and only good things happening in 2018.
