Friday, January 5th Mr. Kernats and Conant High School were kind enough to host a debate fundraising effort on Brian's behalf.  Brian was able to attend as presiding officer and commented that it was the most fun he has had at a debate and was grateful to have some normalcy at this time.  Current students debated against alumni and a good time was had by all.  The attendance was overwhelming and the outpour of support and generosity was amazing.  As it turns out, Friday was day 16 of Brian's 33 days of radiation and chemo therapy.  What a great way to celebrate his half-way point.  Once again, we cannot thank everyone for all that you have done for us.  We don't now what we would do without you.  We hope will post pictures of the fundraiser in the very near future.
