FRIDAY, JUNE 1, 2018

Well ... the time is here already again.  We leave for Duke this Sunday and meet with the doctors on Monday.  We're hoping with all your prayers and support that we will once again have good news that the tumor is shrinking and the cancer is dying.  This is a picture of Brian going to attend the commissioning ceremony (Navy graduation).  Two seniors asked him to be their first salute at the commissioning ceremony.  It was a great honor for Brian to be asked to do this.

Brian is doing well ... it seems as though the week following the chemo affects him the most but of course, we're talking about Brian ... so he never complains and is trudging through.  Your continued thoughts and prayers are so much appreciated.  Thanks to everyone!

How wonderful to be the first salute. What an honor. You look great, Brian, and I pray for continued healing and strength. May the Lord bless your travels and bring you a good report. Your mom is such an angel to be with you on this journey. "Heavenly Father God, I pray that you will go before Brian and Lydia as they travel and meet with the doctors. I pray for strength, healing and a great report. Watch over them, and bring them home safely. Amen."

What a gift from God that you are meeting this health and faith challenge head on, Brian! Ps. 145:18 “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him.” Keep calling on Him and praising Him for his loving kindness. May your new school year be brimming with new possibilities and opportunities. Praying for you!
