Day 2 - So far, so good
The story of the day is that Cindy's doctor couldn't find her during his rounds because she was out walking around the floor. . Eventually, they connected. So, a good day 2.
Cindy is still feeling well, no eating issues, able to walk the halls and did so twice, once with friend Rita, who visited in late morning for a couple hours, and once with me. I swooped in after work then left earlier than usual to avoid getting caught in the super-frigid weather with temps tonight dipping to minus 16.
Thanks to so many dear friends, family, etc. leaving well wishes and prayers on the site. Cindy is soaking all of you up.

Praying continually for you, Cindy! So glad to hear you're up and around likely getting more exercise than most Michiganders with that cold weather! The girls and I come up on Feb. 7 so we are praying to bring some warmth and sunshine your way!! Look forward to seeing you!! Love you all! Kristi
You’re a rock star Cindy!! Getting in 2 walks!! Eating too! So glad the first 24 hours have been good. Prayers answered. 💕
This post was such a comfort, and knowing that Cindy is walking the halls speaks volumes about her fierce desire to "walk away" from AML. Praying for complete remission, comfort and peace for Cindy and those who care for and love her, and also that she doesn't get lost again :)
This update was so good to read.....glad to hear Cindy is walking; feeling good enough to want to walk! Praying that each subsequent treatment goes smoothly and, ultimately, knocks the AML right out of her and leaves in its path a complete remission. Praying for peace, patience, and perseverance.....and healing.
What good news to hear you have been walking and no issues with eating. Praying for a total remission and for peace as you continue this journey. Regina Wheeler
Cindy and Glenn, Thinking of you and praying for your continued strength and remission. Glenn’s entry today that the Dr. couldn’t find you made me smile and reminded me of your abundant energy, positivity and great spirit. Sending our love to you, Karen and Jerry Mulligan
I am "praying without ceasing" for you and your family and all who are involved with Cindy's care. And I hope that all of you are taking care of yourselves as well.
