Day 6 - A Bit Raggety and then...
Not so good morning followed by feeling a bit unwell all day - weak, weary, napping on and off. No appetite for either breakfast or lunch but she ordered a boost berry breeze slush in late afternoon to get some protein. Wants to get up and take a walk around the floor but the spirit is barely willing and the body is zapped (a medical term). Received her first platelets today. Seeking stamina, resolve and increased well-being.
Day ended better when girlfriend, Deb Yanke visited, accompanying Cindy for a walk around the floor until dinner arrived.
Dear friends (and family), oh so true renders me at a loss for words. Rest well, beloved.

Thanks for the updates so we are all able to follow how Cindy is doing and feeling. Sending our love and prayers for well-being on Day 6!
Sorry to hear about this rough Sunday. Will join you in prayer for stamina, resolve, and well-being. Love you guys!
This is probably all expected but hard to witness. Know you are both being lifted in prayer. I’m reminded of the poem about foot prints in the sand. Strength will come from many and varied sources on heaven and earth. ❤️
Hard to hear of your difficult sunday however predicted it was☹️. Praying for a comfortable home stretch to chemo and victory over the cancer!! May a blanket of protection cover you and may you be lifted up in prayers that are being said by an army of friends and family. You are loved Cindy!
Here is prayer for you and your family: God, Cindy is Your child, and Your are her Father. You already know this about whole situation and I know that You will bring peace, guidance, and hopefully healing to Cindy and her family in ways that they do not know about yet. And let us all remember that You are the Great Physician."
Rebirth only follows surrender. Here's hoping dues paid pave the way to a healthful future!
