Cherishing your words
Wow! The outpouring from you has been incredible and I want to savor every iota. I mentioned in another post that words matter. We need not dismiss our words are "mere."
A carefully chosen card that conveys just the right message and image, the words you write or say in person or in a comment posted here or on social media. No, they are not the same as actions and, yes, words can be cheap at times but words matter nonetheless. Furthermore, I receive your words as intended to bless me and I'm grateful for you reaching out to me this way.
God cloaked Himself as the Word then presented His Messiah-Son as the Word that became flesh. From word to action to being - Less far-fetched than ever before in the light of what we've done and are working on, technologically these days...
The Word became flesh and blood,
and moved into the neighborhood.
We saw the glory with our own eyes,
the one-of-a-kind glory,
like Father, like Son,
Generous inside and out,
true from start to finish. (John 1:14, The Message)
Meanwhile, the mammoth effort of acknowledgements is underway that is in fact part of our grief process. I have lots of helpers for this. Stay tuned.

Glenn, I so love the way you have with words too. There is such an appreciation and awe in me for those of you who turn words into poetry, or encouragement, or praise, or worship so easily. Thank for sharing that with others.
Glenn, you are a gifted communicator! What a joy and encouragement it is to read what God is revealing to you day by day! I pray you will always continue because the world (me!) needs to hear and be reminded of these treasured memories and thoughts. God is faithful and has already gone before us! Praying for you, my friend!
