A Favorable Outlook for the New Year

"The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail."
~Isaiah 58:11

What kind of year will 2020 bring us? None of us knows what the future holds, however, most of us anticipate a year of ups and downs along the way.
With so much uncertainty in my life, I often wonder what God has in store for me. A myriad of thoughts run through my mind as I begin this new year. Some of these thoughts include, "Will my health be restored or will I be sick? Do I have several more years to live or is my time short?" For now, God has chosen not to reveal these answers to me. Rather, He has given me His Word and in its pages I have found several scripture passages which predict a favorable outlook for the year ahead. One of these such verses is found in Isaiah 58:11. As you and I continually abide in Him we can expect:
""The Lord will guide you continually,"
🌲Continual guidance, wisdom and direction from above
"And satisfy your soul in drought,"
🌲Inner satisfaction and contentment, even in times of "drought"
"And strengthen your bones;"
🌲Spiritual wellness-strong, healthy, happy people
"You shall be like a watered garden,"
🌲Fruitful, flourishing lives
"And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail."
🌲Unfailing supply of energy and motivation to do God's will
