Disney Day 2: Hollywood Studios

Another great day! Today we went to Hollywood Studios, and Eva finally got to hug Olaf. She has been enjoying having all of the characters sign her autograph book, and Olaf let her feel his carrot nose- all of the characters have been great about letting her feel their costumes. 

We started off in Toy Story Land, and then moved to Star Wars. Everett loved Star Wars the most. The new rides are awesome! I think the kids liked Millennium Falcon the best. We rode it twice, and Eva was the pilot both times. We laughed as we shouted at her to pull the lever up or down to steer the ship. 

One of the highlights for me was riding the Aerosmith roller coaster with her. I have loved Steven Tyler for a long time, and the ride was a little scary- it is a coaster that goes upside down twice- at the end she was laughing, and immediately said she wanted to ride again. 

We also let the kids build light sabers- my friend Danielle from work told me about a gift shop that lets them make toy light sabers, rather than the expensive display only light sabers. This was awesome, and I guess because we were in a Star Wars trance, we let them build double light sabers, so they now have toy weapons that are twice as long. Eva’s is purple, Everett’s is red and green (a side for the good side and a side for the dark side…nervous laughter), and Vivian’s is white and blue. 

We told Eva that she has a surprise tomorrow morning at 9 AM, and when I asked her what she thought it was, her guess was bubbles, so I think she will be pretty surprised when she gets her Anna makeover.
