Day 3

Just when we thought Stephanie was in the clear and starting the healing process a recent scan showed a clot in her head. She is undergoing yet another surgery to remove the clot. She is experiencing more swelling in her brain and needs now, more than ever, the support from all her friends and family. We love you, Stephanie, and your beautifully sweet soul.

Hi Stephanie, One my first memories of us together is when you is when we were down on the dock and you were just a baby. I was supposed to watch you for just a minute and within a second of me being alone with you, your baby head just toppled forward into the bucket you were playing with. That’s the first time I realized how big baby’s head are compared to their bodies!!! Then all I had to do was straighten you up and lean you back a little bit. Wish it was just as easy to help you now. We are sending you all our love, healing thoughts, strength, and wishes. You can make it through this! Still planning on us sharing lots of Island time together!!!! Lots and lots of love from Madeline, Alexander, Naomi, Leia and Johan

Hey Steph, remember how intrigued you were 20 years ago up at the Island when You, Jack, Lexie, and Catherine put on the worlds greatest magic show. Well I know you are pretty magical so now is the time to show that off! We are praying for you and sending lots of love your way! If Jack could wave his magic wand and make everything change we would wave it like crazy!! You got this, we come from a long line of strong women, they are all pulling for you. Looking forward to seeing you at the Island next summer!

Steph, in no time the doctors will be scratching their heads, amazed at your unbelievably quick recovery. You are superwoman and Dennis is your superman. So very soon, all this will be behind you. Until then my thoughts are with you. Sending love and hugs, Deb Wyatt

From the first day I met you as the PT intern I was to mentor at BWFH, I knew you were a strong, intelligent, compassionate and feisty young woman. I was in awe of you even then.... and more so as you moved on to start your career and life with your love, Dennis. I still can't believe you were biking to/from work in Boston on your bicycle (rain, shine, blizzards, you name it!) and even paddle boarding in your wedding dress!! You were such a wonderful nut and I knew instantly I liked you. For someone who can run a marathon like it is a walk in the park, I know you can recover from this most tragic and unnecessary of injuries. I will be thinking of you daily and sending all the love, strength and healing vibes I can until I know you are well. Meg Griffith
