The Signs and Flamingos Were Awesome... Thanks for Everything!

The Fisher family would like to thank everyone for the signs and flamingos that adorned our front yard upon Gracie and Debbie's return home. They made our drought stressed lawn pop with color! We have also been enjoying the meal train and the excellent food provided to our family. We loved Craig Hospital, but you don't go for the food! We owe a debt of gratitude to the people of Craig. They will always hold a special place in our hearts.

It's nice being home and nice for Gracie to see her friends before they go off to college. We also appreciate all the hard work and support that neighbors, friends and even complete strangers have given us over these last several months. Little by little we hope to get reunited with family and friends as we transition into post-rehabilitation life. We hope to catch up with all of you soon.

With Love and Gratitude,

Bill, Debbie, Gracie and Emily

Dearest Fisher family, It is always so wonderful to hear news of Gracie. I know I speak for so many, when I say that it just feels 'right' to have you all home in Santa Barbara. One can only imagine your journey, and yet; we all have, in our own ways. Not a day doesn't go by when Gracie doesn't simply pop into our minds. I am wholly confident that she has bought a whole new understanding of endurance and strength to us all. She has both challenged and changed our own perspective, of what it means to 'go the distance'. Long before her illness, even as a child, Grace could, and would; simply do anything and everything, for anyone. While she may not be leaving for college herself, yet; her own graduation speech has, I'm sure, already touched the lives of her closest friends, inspiring them to push longer and harder toward their own goals. What a profound effect she has had, on so many lives; at such a young age. Perhaps, Graces illness was less about defining her own strength, but rather about encouraging all those around her to 'find' their own. Cathie

Don't want to "bug" y'all but I don't work Thursdays this quarter, so if you want a break to just go mosey around or would like help with errands just let me know. I am happy to help! Elissa
