Wake up Evie!!
I spoke with both Ev's nurse and a DR. (I believe, doctor's apparently call themselves by first name in this hospital!) just now...
Her vitals are all stable, which of course if great news. Her heart rate is still high, HOWEVER is getting a bit lower and closer to stabilizing than before.
She is moving a bit more, signalling she is closer to waking up. However, they are concerned that the movement doesn't come in response to their commands. They only command she has followed is when the nurse asked her to wiggle her toes - so while that's great news, that she moved her toes - they wish she'd be doing more at this point.
If she doesn't wake by the end of today they are involving neurology again, as I said in previous update.
This is all hard to process. Everything happened so quickly. It feels like all is good, and you are well - until you're not.
We are all maybe finding it difficult to get out of our heads? I am anyway.
Thank-you all for reading and your prayers, love and support.
