Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle....

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.

We could not be sadder to let you all know of Kayties passing yesterday afternoon. It was peaceful and she was surrounded by family and friends. She is now out of pain and singing with the angels in heaven.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
Date and time of a memorial to celebrate Kayties life has not yet been determined but will not be for a few months to allow all loved ones to attend.

Kaytie was a light and is a light. Please continue to keep the light, be the light and share the light.

“I've heard it said That people come into our lives for a reason Bringing something we must learn And we are led To those who help us most to grow If we let them And we help them in return Well, I don't know if I believe that's true But I know I'm who I am today Because I knew you... Like a comet pulled from orbit As it passes a sun Like a stream that meets a boulder Halfway through the wood Who can say if I've been changed for the better? But because I knew you I have been changed for good“

Dear friends and family of Kaytie, This morning, on Christmas day, starting at 5:30 AM here At a beautiful spiritual retreat center in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York, I attended a recitation of the Bhagavad-Gita. I dedicated it to Kaytie and to all who love Kaytie. It was so powerful and so moving. In chapter 8, called “the Yoga of the imperishable absolute”, there was a certain verse that lept out at me so powerfully: “and at the hour of death, he who dies remembering Me, having relinquished the body, goes to My state of being. In this matter there is no doubt.” At this tender and precious and sacred time, Kaytie is so strong and present in my mind and heart. I’ll always remember her singing in Robin Morse’s class the beautiful song, “with so little to be sure of, if there’s anything at all…“ yes, there are things to be sure of. Love. Compassion, strength, truth, hope, light, blessings, friendship, family… Life will go on without Kaytie here in her physical form… And with so little to be sure of, she will be with us so strongly for always. Love to you all... Comfort, solace, and healing to you all. And through our tears... Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Blessed everything! Blessed love, blessed life! Here’s to “the yoga of the imperishable absolute“! God bless us, everyone! Warmly, Walker
