9-2 update

Meghan is back to school, surrounded by friends and classmates. All is pretty much normal. The first day back for us was super exciting as both Meghan & Tim are now in the same school and riding the same bus. Mt. Airy Middle opened as a brand school, marking a new chapter for Meghan.

This summer Meghan had been remolding her room. Picked the color and layout and did all the dirty work, with moms help. Packing up all her stuff, removing wall paper, spackling and sanding drywall. Then all the painting, priming walls and ceiling. Patching, sanding and paintinig all the trim and shelfing. Meghan was also forced to the basement while her room was overhauled. Once new carpet got laid, and furniture put back the new school year was here. As I stand in her doorway all the planning and sweat have come together her room is so beautiful. 

Early August Meghan had her 3 month check up and the tests all had good results. Next scheduled test is Nov. and a CT Scan, we'll just have to wait till then to get the all clear that she has worked so hard for. 

Meghan had a few summer trips, Ocean City & camping in the Catoctin mountains. Ocean was fun, but we'll never camp when the temps are 99plus again. We went camping the 2nd week of July.

Meghan is turning into a runner, has completed 4 5K's has a 5K next week and another 5K in September. Meghan is part of the Team Fight and runs Wednesday & Saturday. The running has give Meghan more energy which equals less time sleeping. A win win is how I score it.
