Meghan had her follow-up appointment today.  Results were not what we were hoping for.  So there has been no more shrinkage, and possibly a slight increase in size in the tumor in her chest of about 1mm.  Doctors are not overly concerned right now, but Meghan will be going back again in three months for another PET scan.  Thoughts are that if there continue to be no more shrinkage then Meghan may have to under go additional radiation treatments.  In addition to this news, Meghan's thyroid level is slightly below where it should be.  If it is still low after her appt. in three months she will then need to go see an endocrinologist.  This is somewhat expected due to the areas that they treated with radiation.

Not what we were hoping to hear but it could always be worse.  Meghan is a real trooper and just accepts things for what they are.  She is AMAZING and so strong.
