12-19 update

round 4 - we will remember this day.

Started great, breakfast at Double T, easy ride to UMMC, tried on wigs for first time, round 4 Chemo was a breeze, had a begal after chemo, left still feeling hungry, had a late lunch or early dinner at Green Turtle........... Then the bottom dropped out of Meghan's day. Did we say round 4 was a breeze? WRONG...Round 4 snuck up on her and did a number, poor girl as of 9:30 PM Meghan still has not rebounded.

We are learning the side effects are no joke. The worst part kicking cancer in the a$$ is the side effects.

Enough of that, in a few hours Meghan will be back to Meghan. Back to her smiling & cheerful self.

Now some positives

We are 25% complete, in football terms 1st quarter is OVER.......YEAH. Actaully no more chemo till NEXT YEAR, sounded great.. would even be better if today was like March 5th 2012 or something. Next round is Jan 2nd 2013.

We had a fun time trying on wigs, it is incredible the behind the scenes details that go into the creatation of a wig. They've come a long since Mrs Doubtfire wore one. Dad already has dibs on the wig once it no longer has a purpose for Meghan. Most of you may know why...lol. Check out the photos which one did you like? 

Yesterday Meghan met Mrs B, Mrs B will be Meghan's home school teacher so Meghan can maintain her grade level and be back with her class mates once treatments end.  

We are anixous for tomorrow so today gets behind us, come on Thursday.
