Round 3 day 1 is alomost over. When I left Meghan and mom at UMMC, Meghan was sleeping. Meghan will spend tonight and possibly Thursday night there. Michele said Meghan slept most of the day. Probably a good thing becasue ya can't do much hooked up to an IV. Meghan got to her room early this time 3:00PM, thanks to the Nurses for working with us, last time was 10:00PM.[...]
Lots of prayers requested the next few days.
Today round 3 treatment starts, and will continue Thursday & Friday.[...]
Results are in from the PET Scan! Great news!! The mass in Meghan's chest has reduced by 1/2 so is now about 5 cm. The lymphnodes in her neck are now normal size. The doctors are confident that by the time Meghan finishes the last two cycles the mass will have shrunk down completely. [...]
Wednesday Meghan had the PET scan, we are waiting the results. We hoped to hear them by now but haven't so Monday we will be calling UMMC. Meghan did get good news on Wednesday, her blood count was up so the dreaded daily shot could be stopped until next round starts.[...]

Today is the day that Meghan goes in for her first scans since starting chemo. We are praying that the news will be "Good News". We will post the results as soon as we find out. Everyone's prayers have made this journey so much easier up to this point. Thank You!!!

Meghan is holding up very very very well. Meghan is half way thru the chemo treatments and has another full week plus of recovery before the round 3 starts.[...]
round 2 day 8 is almost in the books and Meghan is resting at home. Thanks to everyone for prayers and well wishes.
Today Meghan is half way thru the scheduled chemo treatments. 8 down and 8 to go. The first half was a challange as we all know but as we got closer to mid point Meghan got stronger and the pretreatment was adjusted and became so much more effective in fighting the side effects. Can't thank the doctors and nurses enough at UMMC for the knowledge of thier profession. [...]

Every day further away from the last treatment is a good day. Actually Meghan did exceptionally well the last round. We want to thank you all for the prayers. Definitely they were heard this last round. Friday evening Meghan was smilling and enjoying he tech toys, Saturday on our way home we did Starbucks, Sunday Meghan and mom went shopping and Monday her teacher came for her schooling and her homework somehow was done.
