MERRY EVERYTHING!!!

Callahan has been home for two weeks and she is getting better everyday!  She came home with a PICC line and she gets antibiotics through an IV three times a day and another one pushed through a syringe.  She has handled those very well.  Cal continues to have Physical Therapy while at home which has really helped.  January 13th will be a BIG day as Callahan will have a MRI and then see the neuro surgeon right after.  This will show if the infection in her brain has reduced to a point where she will not need to receive antibiotics through an IV but possible take them orally.  Please keep Callahan in your prayers as this date gets closer! 🙏🏼🙏🏼💕[...]

December 10th Update:

We are day five after surgery and Callahan is doing great!!!💕  She is walking and sitting in her chair but most of all she doesn't have the painful headaches she was experiencing before surgery. They have clamped the drain from her head this morning and after she has another CT scan if everything goes well she will have the drain removed tomorrow and will be able to leave the ICU!  Our hope and prayer is that she will return home next week.[...]

SURGERY UPDATE:  12/5/2020

The Craniotomy Surgery was just completed and lasted about five hours.  Our baby girl did great!  We spoke to all the surgeons present they feel very positive that they got all the infection out of the brain and made sure that all leaks were sealed.  She will remain in the ICU for the next five days for continual observation.  We ask that you please continue to pray for cal over the next few days as we learn how her brain has responded to the surgery. 🙏🙏🙏[...]

12/5 Pray for Cal 🙏🏼

We could use tons of prayers this morning from all of our friends and family 🙏🏼Cal has an abscess infection connecting from her sinuses to her brain and they will be performing surgery this morning. We are praying for every doctor and nurse that they have the wisdom to solve the infection and gentleness to comfort Cal through the surgery. We are praying that every single cell that is infected is cleared and every cell begins to heal already this morning in Jesus name. [...]
