Day 7
The transplant went very well. We are one week down (Day 7) and Laura's doctor team is happy with how things have gone. Today was more challenging than the previous days have been. Laura hit Nadir (meaning her blood cell counts are down, which is normal), and is experiencing some of the regular side affects for this stage, including fever and mouth/throat pain. She says to tell you that she's "in good spirits, the Lord is present and faithful. Thank you for praying."
Please pray for her comfort and rest, that she sleeps tonight, that her fever falls, that eating and drinking become more comfortable.
We love you, Mama! We're praying you through! Praying for your complete healing and total victory in all things.

Thinking of you dear friend! Have good stuff to share with you! I know I will see you soon! God is great! Love you so much!!
Laura, So good to see your smiling face in the picture. You are in my prayers everyday as Reggie and I travel to school in the mornings and pray for needs. Thanks for the update and for the great example of faith you are to everyone. Blessings, Gayle Reichelt
Laura, it is a shame those masked bandits are stealing your ice cream! Still, you respond with a smile! Most kidding aside, you look great, and the other people probably do, too. Continued prayers for a swift and complete recovery. Ed Moore
We're praying for you, Laura. Much, much love to you from all our hearts.
Continued prayers on your behalf as your body works through this next phase of healing.
