Day 29 (March 16)
Day 29: Laura is doing well. Her appetite and energy are low, but her spirits are high. She's taking walks each day, and resting with Ed or her sisters. I had a sleepover with my mom and aunt last Sunday - quite special. <3[...]

Day 22: recovery continues to go well. :) The challenging and intense two weeks took a dramatic turn for the better last Wednesday, and on Thursday Laura was discharged to her temporary residence in Portland. She and Ed will live there until the end of May. [...]
Day 10: Today we're a tenth of the way through the hundred days! (My dad appreciates that he can break it down into easy percentages.) :) On Thursday I read this verse to my kids and then read it again as a prayer for my mom/Laura:[...]
The transplant went very well. We are one week down (Day 7) and Laura's doctor team is happy with how things have gone. Today was more challenging than the previous days have been. Laura hit Nadir (meaning her blood cell counts are down, which is normal), and is experiencing some of the regular side affects for this stage, including fever and mouth/throat pain. In honor of Valentin's Day/Transplant Day, my sister-in-law Hallie is doing a LulaRoe legging give away for every 15 donations that come into my mom's fundraising site. Here's a link if you're interested and want to know more! :)[...]
Today was a "rest day" from most of the drugs - a day to catch breath between chemo and transplant. Portland hit 60 degrees and it was glorious to sit in the sunshine this morning with my mom. The chemo round went well, and we are thankful.[...]
As many of you know, we have started a fundraiser for my mom. The link below will take you to it, and the page you land on will tell you everything about it there is to know. :)[...]
We are almost to Transplant Day! Laura has been checked in to OHSU for a week undergoing the pre-transplant chemotherapy. Everything has gone well, and she's felt pretty decent the entire way through. The transplant will take place on Valentine's Day, this coming Tuesday. I know many of you who receive the PostHope updates are not on Facebook, so over the next few days I'll be doing a lot of cross-posting between this site and the Facebook prayer group. The following is a copy of a Facebook post:[...]
Hello everyone, clearly the holidays made us a bit silent on here! I've owed my mom an update for awhile now, and so first off I want to thank you for praying even through our silence.[...]
Greetings and news from Harmony:
Good morning. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We were very thankful to all be together this year.[...]
