Day 29 (March 16)

Day 29: Laura is doing well. Her appetite and energy are low, but her spirits are high. She's taking walks each day, and resting with Ed or her sisters. I had a sleepover with my mom and aunt last Sunday - quite special.  <3

Tomorrow she will have a bone marrow biopsy, with the results to come sometime the week following. We are praying and hoping for a good report. We are praying for her blood counts to rise (they have dropped a little, and are a bit on the low side), and we are praying for the "still all-clear" so far as leukemia is concerned. Praying for there to be no leukemia in her body, only healthy, hearty cells!

The prayers remain the same: for complete healing, full recovery, red and white blood counts and platelets to rise (and stay high), long life, energy, appetite, confidence, joy, peace, health. For the new stem cells to take over her body well. For complications and illness to stay away.

We are so thankful for the health she's had the past few weeks, there has been no serious illness, not even a common cold. She's been very well taken care of. Thank you for praying with us!
