Sarah, When I think of you I always remember your wonderful smile and vivacious spirit. The Flower Crew rocked and in large part because you always gave your best. I am heartbroken to hear the news of where your journey has taken you. My prayer for you and your family is to be surrounded by peace. With much love. Mike

Don't know if you remember me... We went to France last year. My husband went to school with your husband.

I wanted you to know that I've been thinking of you & that amazing smile & energy that I saw in France. Wish we would have had more time to talk. The FOT always starts out with so much time & before you know it, it's gone.

Prayers for healing, comfort, patience, strength. Thanks for the big smiles at the Feast! Always made me smile when I saw you. :)

Dearest Sarah,
I was at a loss for words after reading your post this morning. You crying stuck me and I simply logout. However, after praying a part of my favorite Bible verse came to mind. Revelation 21:4 - God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
If you ever have your tears wiped by someone who truly loved you, you know what a tremendously wonderful feeling it is.
God HIMSELF will wipe your tears, Sarah. ALL of them, as well as the ones you shed privately. He does so now and in the future. God’s peace to you.

Chester let me know about you and this website. I am praying for you.
I had what was diagnosed as terminal tongue cancer back in 1994. God cured me and I was cancer free for nearly 20 years. I now have a different cancer (throat) that has also been diagnosed as "terminal" that was likely a result of damage done by the radiation I received to treat the first cancer.
I also have put my stories and journey on this website:
http://posthope.org/jimackley/
I am living proof that God is Good !!! - And that he answers prayers!!
Cancer is less scary when your destiny is secure - God will never leave you alone - your mind and emotions may cloud your spiritual vision but God's love and goodness remains constant.

Sarah,

I just read all of the posts in your journal, and looked at all of the pictures. You are so funny; you make us laugh. We are very sorry that you are having to go through this trial. It was hard when we heard this news, since we had just spent a day with your wonderful family, in Florida, back in Oct. 2014. Our family, and all of our boys, had such a nice visit with your family, and all of your girls.

We pray that each day will get better. We love you, Scott, and all of your girls. Be strong, and don't let your beard get too long (see picture). You look like a Norseman (Lady), from the Great Northwoods ! We have not forgotten you, and we pray for comfort, peace, and hope, that God can give to you. I hope you have rest today, on the Sabbath, and that you have an "ACTIVE" week, starting tomorrow.

We will check back with you. We remember, fondly, our visit with you and your family, in Montana, before you moved back to MN, some years back.

Lots of love and concern, and prayers, from Nate Berg, and Cherine, and all of our boys. We care so much for you, and Scott, and all of your girls.

Stay strong!

Hey Sarah, good pics. . . Your window view is quite good. After a careful review of your pics, I was thinking that you could save your energy and not wave out the window, just bring your yellow gloves and have Scott attach them to a pivoting stick and just put it on the commode. :) I know great idea. You can thank me next Sabbath.

Sending you another round of hugs to be used throughout the week.

I googled about your chemotherapy so I could better understand what you're going through or might be going through in the next few months. It seems that you're tolerating your protocol pretty well so far. And if you get tired from it, there's a nap for that. I hope we can talk in person soon - you're always surrounded by concerned friends.

Many many people are thinking of you and praying for you every day.

Sarah,

Thank you for the good news! Glad to see you are "active." Keep it up. Some days are going to be tough - but you are a lot tougher. When the going gets tough, the tough get going! Love you!
