Being a Hottie is Hard Work!

As I sit here writing this post, I am enjoying watching the rain through the third story windows. If it's going to be wet, I may as well enjoy it from a dry spot. The good news is that with all of this humidity, my skin is far from dry. Right after surgery I was having serious dry skin issues so I increased my water intake. Now the humidity and water consumption have come together for some real benefits to skin, nails, and hair. My body may go into shock when it hits Lubbock. I wonder if I'll be able to feel the shrivel of my organs as I approach.

Again this morning Jason and I were out the door at 6:30 to be at the proton center for my appointment at 7. The more sessions I do, the faster they become. I think it's a function of my knowing what to do without instruction and the flow of the team. Once finished there, we drove over to the MDA Mays clinic where I had the weekly blood draw. For once the phlebotomist believed me when I said "go in at a 45 degree angle." People, this is not my first rodeo!

We had some time before yoga so we sat outside in the "green space" on the 3rd floor drinking a bit of coffee. We are not supposed to have coffee before yoga, but otherwise we'd be asleep during the first breathing exercise so we break the rules. I realized during yoga that my abs, butt, and shoulders are very sore. I'm not looking forward to my 3 PM training at the gym. I'm holding on to this: today is my last gym training until Tuesday; tomorrow is my last yoga session until a week from this Monday. Therefore, I have this weekend off and next week will just be gym training with no yoga and that should allow my body to catch up. Becoming a hottie is kind of hard. Who knew?!

You would love my student role plays. Several prospects were gym owners: Tyrannosaurus Flex, Curls for Girls (All Women's Gym), and Oh My Quads. Nobody had my favorite, Abs of Flab. I am sure you are going to be Miss Buff. Lois suggested we try your Paleo diet.

Yoga and the gym - you are truly a superwoman! Your comment about the rodeo made me think of our trip to Dallas. You really are a bad a$$!
