After I posted yesterday, I saw that an appointment was added to my online schedule for next Friday. The appointment is called "chemotherapy treatment." I haven't heard anything else from oncology since Monday, so I am expecting that they are leaning in a specific direction, they met with the tumor board, someone made a decision, and scheduling was set in motion. I also, therefore, expect to hear from someone on my team via phone call in the next couple of days. So...
...there's something happening here. What it is ain't exactly clear. There's a man with a drug over there. Telling me I've got to beware. I think it's time we STOP, children, what's that sound? Everybody look what's going down. There's battle lines being drawn. No treatment's right if every other is wrong. Patients speaking their minds, getting occasional resistance as the research unwinds. Cannot imagine what you are going through. But, rest assured that the reason the wind gods are going crazy in Lubbock right now is because they are performing their Challenge Dance--daring that nasty cancer to come out in the open and face its downfall.

That is absolutely wonderful news even though it's probably not going to feel like it. Now we just got to keep some meat on the bones without going overboard !
