In the hospital after a fall

Last night Dad fell again, this time going into the new house. He briefly lost consciousness and went to the ER. A scan was done that showed a slight brain bleed. He is now at Good Samaritan Hospital where he is being observed for at least 48 hours. He is, of course, joking around with the staff. The initial read on a second scan is no change, and a third will be done later this morning.

Mom has asked that we all offer up prayers today on Dad's behalf, that he may be well enough to be sent home soon, and also to slow the progression of this awful disease.  Hopefully, they will be able to purchase a wheelchair van soon, as it seems as that would be much safer at this point.  Thanks for all the prayers you are all shouting out, and please keep those prayers going!
