Fundraiser update & eye-tracking machine

An update from Dad on 9/26: 

I would like to thank all the people who made the fundraiser at holycross last Saturday sucha great success. Including my brothers and sisters. All the different people and groups including CRECHE AHG, Knights, Marmion, Rosary. I would like to thank Fr. Parker and Fr. Twenty for all their prayers and support. I would like to thank all the people who came out to support the event! Your generous heart will not go unrewarded by God. My family prays for you every night.

Cool note: Dad wrote all of that using an eye-tracking device! Those of you who follow my dad on Facebook may have seen that he stopped posting for a while because it became too hard to type. Since his voice is also getting weaker, he now has an eye-tracking device from Tobii Dynavox. It allows him to control a computer and even generate speech using his eyes. "Look, mom, no hands!" 

We have another fundraising opportunity! Aunt Cathy submitted Dad's story to 26shirts, and they decided to fundraise for him! They designed a Chicago Cubs shirt, and a portion of the proceeds goes to my dad. The shirt says, "Chicago Cubs baseball" in Spanish.
