November 10, 2016 ~ Update
Brief update.
Cole was taken to the Ottawa ER via 911/ambulance yesterday and then transported to Children's Mercy (CMH) by CMH ambulance since they're a mobile ICU where he's in the PICU right now at CMH.
He had what appeared to be seizure activity at home but they're not sure that's what it is as he didn't respond to anti-seizure meds which isn't good. It's likely his EVIL disease but more tests coming to determine next steps.
Cole cannot speak right now and still has tremor movements when awake. We think he understands us and can sometimes respond with an arm movement on his left side, but otherwise can't communicate with us. He favors his left side so when awake his eyes stare to the left but sometimes he moves them to try to look at people. He doesn't really respond with his right side.
Neuro believes likely not seizures which means possibly something going on with his basal ganglia which controls voluntary/involuntary movement from the brain kinda like your gas and brake. So something impacting that is likely causing the tremor like movements.
He's getting a brain MRI right now to determine next steps.
We need prayers more than ever right now.

As soon as I heard this news my Anthony( kindergartner at shs) and I dropped to our knees and started praying hard. We send you love and prayers🙏❤
