Rough morning...

Alright prayer warriors, Levi and his family need you.

Levi started having what they thought were seizures again late last night. The MRI looked good and the EEG did not show seizures so there is some other sort of neurological hyperactivity going on. The doctors will continue to monitor. It's very hard on Beth and Zack right now, as they have not slept (really at all since this happened) and things are moving and changing so fast.

Please pray. Here is a short prayer if you are struggling to find words but any sort of blessing is beautiful for Levi and his family. (It's okay to ugly cry, we all have.)

Lord I come to You today to pray for Levi. This serious sickness that is upon him is very sad to all who know and love him. I know that in times like this his Mom, Beth, and Daddy, Zack, are in despair.

Please keep them strong in You so that they can be a comfort to this dear little child. I ask that You Bless the doctors with wisdom and healing. Please keep Levi from being scared and filled with love. I ask Your mercy so that pain would be minimal or nonexistence. I love this small and fragile little child. Bestow Your grace and peace to them and all who love them. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you very much for the prayer Bonnie, it helped me when I could not think of the words myself at this time.

You are welcome. It's not entirely my prayer, but parts taken from other prayers along with what the Holy Spirit guided me to write.

Good morning, Rundletts. I wanted to share my prayer for all of you this morning. Father, You are great and rich in mercy. Nothing is too hard for you. You are the God Who Gives Peace. You give peace to people who depend on you. To those who trust in you. You comfort us every time we have troubles. Bring peace to Zack and Beth. Show them that you are all around them - in front of them and behind them, and that your hand is on their shoulders. Open their minds to see the hope that you have chosen us to have. They are weary and burdened. Give them rest. God Who Sees, comfort Levi in his sickness. He is a gift from you, and brings so much joy to those around him. God Who Heals, bring healing. Nothing is too hard for you, God Almighty. If the doctors lack wisdom for Levi's care, let them ask from you. You give wisdom openly. Use us, Father. Use us to share the comfort that you have shared with us, and bring comfort to this family in their distress. Holy Spirit, take my words and thoughts, and intercede for me to the Father. What I have forgotten, add. What I have failed to communicate, speak on my behalf. I pray all of this, believing. I ask all of these things with faith in Jesus' name. Amen.
