Happy Fourth of July!!!

Levi was able to start chemo yesterday including the first two medications of his several days long regimen.  He had a relatively uneventful night which we are all thankful for after the night before.  (Now if we could just fix the hospital bed for Beth and Zack, which is less than comfortable to say the least!)

Today will be the start of Chemo drug #3.  And, hopefully, we’ll be starting some slow feeds through his tube today as he hasn’t had anything for awhile.  And, as most of you know, our little man likes his food so we need to get that started pronto!  

Also on the agenda for the day, Zack and Owen will be celebrating the holiday spending time at Uncle Jake’s cabin playing in the pond.  Then, they are heading to Grandpa Tom’s for some swimming.

Meanwhile, Beth and Levi will be cuddling with elephant, reading some stories, and waiting for Beth’s BBQ sandwich to be delivered.  It’s not the fourth without a BBQ, right?
