Yes and No

Yes!!!!

Levi’s surgery went well and his port is in place.  That means less needle sticks on a daily basis. This will be especially important for the start of his next cycle of chemo which is now slated for Tuesday.

No!!!

Due to the area where Levi’s tumor was located and due to the fact that he had the breathing tube irritating his throat so much over the past five weeks, Levi has not been able to talk to us.  But, today, that changed with a very clear “No!!!” when asked if he wanted to sit up.  Way to go buddy, you still have to sit up but we’re happy to hear your toddler protests returning.

So happy for Levi that he is getting his "No" out (we at Cadence certainly know what those sound like). Glad to hear that everything is improving!
