Welcome Home Part Two - A Welcome Home Surprise
Levi (and Owen) got the coolest surprise this morning to welcome him home. The West Liberty Fire Department came to provide a hero’s welcome to our little man. It was complete with an official formation and salute, fist bumps, and smiles all around. Levi was happy to tell all that the fire truck was red and in addition to saying “Thank you” he also told the team “I love you”. He definitely enjoyed their visit!
Owen also loved it as he got a full all access tour of the truck along with a ride where they ran the sirens and lights. He was jumping up and down with excitement.
The support of family, friends, and the community has meant so much to us along this journey. And, once again, as we celebrate this huge milestone, that support has made this journey a little brighter... We hope they know what a difference they made in the lives of two little boys today!

Wahoooo! That is all I can think of - Levi going home and sleeping where he belongs, plus firemen and a dinosaur banner. Fantastic job, Levi!
