Having fun at home
Levi has been having fun at home. He’s asked to go downstairs, for a ride in Daddy’s truck, loved seeing all of his grandparents and was enamored with the sky on his first stroller ride around the block. Can you blame him? He had only seen the boring ceiling in the hospital room for 3 months....the changes in scenery are such a luxury for him right now. We’ve loved seeing him where he belongs, even if it is just for a short time.
Today he has a follow up with his cancer doctor. He has been very sleepy over the past 24 hours so they are running some tests to check his blood counts and getting an mri to check his shunt. We are hoping it’s just from the increase in activity over his first few days of being home and that he gets to stay home for this next week before treatment starts again.

I'm so excited for Mommy, Daddy, and Owen! It must be amazing to have Levi back at home. It must feel so good to be in his own space. Keep those cuddles going! (As I know you will!)
