Happy November!!!
Hope everyone has had a great weekend. Levi and Owen enjoyed their Halloween - Levi as Blaze and Owen as Bulbasar - yesterday. It was fun to see all the creative ways that neighbors came up with to keep everyone distanced and safe. Today, the boys teamed up to play soccer and amazingly they scored a LOT of goals on Beth Probably one of her worst performances ever as a goalie - hmmm...I guess the smiles of her opponents are more important to her than winning these days.
Tomorrow begins the start of Levi’s fifth and final cycle of induction treatment. We’re so thankful for his time at home as he has made so many strides in terms of regaining strength. However, we are ready to support him through this next round. His doses will be adjusted to hopefully avoid any further hearing loss. We’re crossing our fingers this will mean less vomiting as well. The plan is for approximately 2 weeks in the hospital followed by some time at home before his next MRI and then moving on to what is called consolidation therapy and stem cell transplant. It’s a lot to think about but for now, we’re just happy to see how far he’s come. Keep it going Amazing Levi!!!
