Another day at the office...

Levi's checked into the hospital and began his day early - about 5:00 am. He's started chemo again, and with a few adjustments, as of this morning, he's only vomited once. He's scheduled to stay at the hospital for about two weeks. While here, he'll be doing the usual: PT, OT, test, test, and chemo-related things. 

Of course, there will be plenty of Blaze, walks to see the fish and paintings, and maybe a few other fun things slipped in. He might be able to see an Iowa Hawkeye football game too. They play Michigan State on Saturday, and he'll be able to watch from windows.  Hopefully, he'll see the famous 1st quarter-wave. That's when the players, refs, and fans take a break from the on-field action. They turn their attention to the hospital and wave to the kids and their families fighting a much more important battle. More than ever, this momentary break puts things into perspective. If you happen to be watching the game on TV, hang around for the end of the first quarter. Look for Levi in the window waving back at you!
