Not Fair But We Are Behind Them 100%
We started celebrating too soon. The doctors did not have all the information before they sent Levi and his family home with the happy news of remission. It turns out a genetic test they did on the tumor, way back when, is one of the most aggressive subtypes.
What this means is that Levi is not in remission and has to go back to the hospital to start treatments again. We are not sure what treatments are needed at this point. There are a lot of factors to consider (his age, previous treatments, sub-type) in order to come up with the best plan for Levi. Beth and Zack are meeting with the doctors and setting up appointments so they can start moving forward again.
A prayer for strength (mental and physical) as well as the for the Holy Spirit to guide those entrusted with Levi's care are appreciated. Also, prayers of thankfulness that we were able to get this far are good too.
Despite this news, one thing for sure is that no matter where this journey takes them, we are behind them 100%.

All we can do is start praying again. Many hills to climb but Levi is strong as well as Jack & Beth, love sent your way & understanding of the disappointment you must feel. Be strong.
