Friday morning prayer from Laura
Dear God and Universe and Edie,
Thank you for the generosity of friends and strangers to assist in Liza’s healing. Thank you for the beauty of sunrises that remind me of your miraculous power and grace.
Today please provide strength to Liza to use the radiation to fight the tumor. Give her the power of alertness so that she can become an outpatient and battle with the beauty of your everyday energy surrounding her. Let the radiation be strong but grant Liza calm in its midst. And allow us to serve her to facilitate that. Lastly today please bring more kisses, hand squeezes, toe wiggles, and efforts to be her stubborn, independent, whole self. We love Liza and want to share life with her; she makes this world a better place.

Dearest Mom, I am not only praying for Liza’s strength but also yours! I remember in retrospect, how tough it was for my mom when I was battling a brain tumor. Your prayer this morning was beautiful. I will speak it in the name of Liza! May the peace of God be with all of you!

I had to go through radiation many years ago. During every treatment I imagine it was golden rays of healing from God.
