Laura’s 10:30 pm Thursday update
Today’s test results were reinforced by several events AND responses from Liza. First, when i arrived at the hospital, she was getting her feet washed (hello Maundy Thursday!). Then at noon Liza did a little toe wiggling for her Athens bestie. Twenty minutes later when I questioned its certainty, Liza made it quite clear by strongly wiggling the toes on her other foot! So very Liza.
After her friends washed her hair, she kept up the toe wiggles while I napped on the beach. I let my (and maybe Liza’s) stress pour into the sand where tonight’s tide under the full moon is washing it all away.
Also notable today: Liza’s sutures were removed shortly after a visit from a few childhood friends.
I know we’re in “a marathon and not a sprint” and this is supposed to feel like a rollercoaster, but I’m really appreciating this moment of pure hope. Please don’t let off the steam of your prayers. Keep them coming… for the tumor to shrink, Liza’s strength to fight and heal, and that she (and we) find a way to stride over every hurdle placed in Liza’s path.

I had just had a very long conversation with God about Liza and you! I’m so glad God is hearing our prayers and showing you that he’s listening. He loves you and Sweet Liza so! Hope and Faith are very powerful. Keep them stronger than ever and with you at all times. Tomoro is Good Friday. This is the Lords week ! The true reason for this Easter season ! Your faith and trusting in the Lord will continue to bring more and more of his Amazing Miraculous Grace for your Princess Warrior! We all are backing you up in this army ! We will battle this thing to shrink shrink shrink until it’s gone and Liza is healed ! Keep your eyes up 👆🏻. He’s just getting started. Thank you God for hearing our prayers !
