Unfortunately, Brian didn't have too good of a night sleep wise but we're hoping as we remove contraptions i.e., I.V.'s, bandage, etc. he'll begin to be more comfortable. He walked a little bit this morning at 5:00 am and they're happy with the amount of liquids and foods he's consuming. He really enjoyed the pumpkin bread - thank you! The occupational and physical therapists will be in stopping in today.
7:30 pm
Both the occupational and physical therapists stopped in and they said he was doing very well on recovery but the surgery was very taxing on his body. Just to get up and sit in the chair seems to be hard for Brian. He's still eating good … he not only ate his entire meatball sandwich but also ate half of Bob's along with a warm cookie and chocolate chip gelato on top. They have him up and walking a bit but we're hoping he'll be up and moving a little bit more tomorrow. Doctor Tomita stopped and said he's looking good.
