December 2nd - Morning Update
Hi Everyone -
Thanks for the many beautiful comments and prayers. I have compiled all of these and plan on reading them aloud to Dad. I'm going up to the hospital at 1:00 pm CT to be there with him as they take him off the ventilator. If you have any other messages of love or haven't posted just yet, please do so by noon CT, so I have time to print everything out before leaving for Jennie Stuart.
I'll make sure to give an update this evening (although it may be later). Lots of love and gratitude.

Clyde is unique and even though I'm not sure he always understood me, i do know he respected me as i did him. Our CCPS days will be forever cherished. Gid bless you all.

I consider Clyde one of my very best friends. We have been friends, neighbors, co-workers, he has been my boss. He always made work a fun place. I think we did some great work at Belmont Elementary and consider my years there some of my hardest and most rewarding years of teaching. I am still praying for a miracle and healing for Clyde. I cannot believe his time on earth is over. Taylor, you were a fun student to have in class. You were very creative and I truly enjoyed having you in my classroom and having you and your dad come to swim at my house during the summer. Those were some very special times. Sending hugs to both of you. Please squeeze Clyde's hand for me.
Oh Clyde, when I think about you I think about the fun time we had at the community college. It’s been a long time since then but I cherish those memories. Continue to fight the fight. You will be in my prayers.
